I think you should go with two and pimp the hell outta it.
ReplyDeleteSee what happens... it should be interesting.
Why not, I'm sure I already have an FBI file...
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be directed to an example of number five ...
ReplyDeleteDamn, I thought for sure I made that argument before, but a quick search of my blog proved me wrong. Well, I'm off to fulfill that one, than maybe work on #2.
ReplyDeleteHistory Lessons from Idiots will probably get plenty of feedback, and we were getting along so well.
ReplyDeleteWe are both liberals, and yet all we do is bicker, which means you must be doing liberalism wrong.
Liberals always bicker. That's why we never come together to get anything done. If it was in our nature to just go along with what others say, we would be conservatives.
ReplyDeleteLiberals always bicker. That's why we never come together to get anything done. I refuse to agree with that very partisan statement that seems to have a merit, because it is too partisan for me.
ReplyDeleteYet, we do bicker and conservatives bicker less. Hmm.
L. Phillip,
ReplyDeleteNumber Five
I highly recommend it, because Bret, that jackass, if very funny in it.
I have mostly written rebuttals to Bret's current postings. I wish he would post something about the Tea Party's totally irresponsible creation of the "debt crisis" or about their completely ridiculous tax policy, or their barbaric take on gay rights, or something we can agree on.
I think it comes from a general attitude (obviously not universal, but prevalent), whereby the liberal questions everything, even those he is allied with. The conservative, especially after the Reagan era, plays by the "Same team" philosophy. The general policy in conservative circles is denial, not argumentation ("None of us are racists/misogynists/homophobes, our opposition just doesn't understand us").

ReplyDeleteI tend to not post on such matters for the same reason I rarely post on atheism. I find it redundant to argue self-evident points. Maybe I'll give it a go next Friday.
Missing from the list: America's unhealthy obsession with underage sexuality
ReplyDeleteOh, Anon, I think someone should just put that somewhere and count the page hits.
ReplyDeleteAmericans are obsessed with underage sexuality? Hmm...
ReplyDeleteAmerica, why don't you have a seat over there? Do you know who I am? I'm Chris Hansen...
