  1. I came across your blog Abadoning Eden. How happy am I to come across this post as the first thing I see here. I also have some serious bellybutton issues. Keep up the good work

  3. I am afraid of cereal with no milk and I have no problem with syringes so long as there is no needle.

What happened to public speaking, flying, sky-diving, etc.?

  4. I don't see what's scary about public speaking, especially if you anticipate you'll make mistakes and just get through it anyway. Definitely not afraid of flying, just airport security.

I would never include something like sky-diving, otherwise the list would be full of stupid ideas like "Riding over Niagara Falls in a barrel" and "Bungee jumping over hot lava." I think those are things people do for the sole purpose of scaring themselves.

  5. I used to skydive. I have 19 jumps. I was told by my jump master that skydiving is statistically safer than skiing, and I suspect that it is. You have two chutes on, so if one fails, you deploy the other. It is easy to get hurt, as will skiing, but it is really difficult to lose your life doing it. In most cases you would have to be a complete moron.

And I don't just play a moron, I really did almost lose my life once, so I know: sky diving is very safe.

I would never have said all that in front of an audience, though. Too scarey.

  6. I don't ski either. I don't even like speeding. I think the biggest risks I take all pertain to my diet, or maybe what I write...

I should take advantage of the fact that I am comfortable in front of people. One of these days I should comb my hair and do a video blog.

  7. Hmmm... I don't fear any of those thing. I am sort of fond of the majority of them!
My most irrational fear is: driving. It is horrid. I am 28 and have never had a license.
Also, escalators. No, not elevators, I enjoy those. Escalators scare the crap out of me.

  8. I thought of another to add, maybe in place of #10:

    10. Walking barefoot in grass, especially if it's wet
