I wouldn't go that far... he's ever so slightly more socially liberal, but economically, Obama might as well be Bush (any idiot can do basically nothing). However, if I had voted for Obama, I would be embarrassed. As it is, I'm not surprised.
I'm fairly sure even a small, barely read blog is more significant than voting currently is. That's not so much an endorsement of the power of blogging as it is an indictment of the impotence in voting right now.
Alas, this is true. The country is not really very different at all under Obama than it was under Bush.

ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is I can't even remember for which third-party douche I voted last time. Needless to say, my vote didn't count.
