Saturday Reflection #77

Religion tried to convince me that no good ever came from asking questions. Actually, this is partially correct. The truth is, no good ever came. Good is sought after or achieved, it doesn’t just come. Good is a goal, not a consequence.

  1. Thank you for clarifying the religion part. Religion wants to control, and questions undermine control.

    Jesus sets us free.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of a king to search a matter out.

I love riddles and puzzles and questions and am always seeking answers.

    Jesus said, "Learn from me."

God said, "Ask me and I will tell you - great, unsearchable things you do not know."

    1. Jesus is religion.
I fail to see your reason for trying to distinguish between the two.
