The fact that He cannot explain it to us does not make it strange. We are incapable of His level of reason. He could make our minds capable of understanding, but then we would not be the entity that we are.
However, it reminds me of the old Pascal riddle: God is not all-powerful because He cannot build a wall that is so high that He cannot jump it.
Of course, the claim is nonsense. It says God is so powerful that even He cannot circumvent His own power. If one were all-powerful that is how it would work, so I find no inconsistency.

DeleteWe can define our God any way we choose. I think I want my God to enjoy surprises from time to time.
